Maricopa County's Take Care Program
Take Care is a collection of Maricopa County programs designed to help keep residents and businesses healthy.
County residents can get COVID-19 testing, free flu vaccinations as well as rent and utility assistance programs for qualifying residents who are unable to pay their gas or electric bills or who may be at risk of losing their homes. Visit maricopa.gov/TakeCare for more information.

National Alliance on Mental Illness
COVID-19 has resulted in an unprecedented crisis that affects not only our physical health and daily lives, but also our mental health.

Meals for youth (18 and under)
- The map will allow people to search by their address and find the nearest distribution of meals along with hours of operation and projected end date.
Mobile Distribution of Boxes and Produce
- St. Mary’s Food Bank will bring trucks to various locations and set up food distributions in parking lots and partner buildings across the valley. The above link will provide a calendar view of when and where they are taking place.

- The Arizona Food Bank Network has a search engine (above link) that allows people to input their zip code and receive a comprehensive list of all resources in their area. These resources are not only ones provided by St. Mary’s Food Bank (although they are of course included) but any resources provided by any of the Arizona food banks.

Volunteer at a COVID-19 Vaccination Site
- HandsOn Greater Phoenix, a local nonprofit, is partnering with ASU and other local partners at both Phoenix Municipal Stadium and State Farm Stadium to register and schedule volunteers to staff the vaccine sites. Details.

The American Red Cross and Vitalant now face a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak.
Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood. COVID-19 survivors are needed to donate plasma as they have antibodies that could help others fight off the virus too.

Social and physical distancing can help flatten the curve of COVID-19. The best way to prevent the illness is to avoid being exposed to it. Follow these guidelines by the CDC:
- When in public, keep at least 6 feet between yourself and other people
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Stay home if you or anyone in your household is sick
- Stay home if you are over 60 or have pre-existing medical conditions
- Avoid social gatherings where 10 or more people are present
- Postpone non-essential outings
