Tournaments at Cactus Yards
There are multiple tournaments taking place at Cactus Yards throughout the year. To see which tournaments are happening here, please view the Cactus Yards Tournament Schedule. To register for a tournament, you will need to contact the specific tournament organizer. Cactus Yards does not register teams for tournaments that are not hosted by the Town. Please note that the start and end times listed are subject to change.

Gate Fees
- 16 and over: $5.00
- 15 and under: Free
- Gilbert residents: Free (with ID)
Gate Fees apply to all tournaments hosted by outside organizations. Tournaments hosted by the Town of Gilbert are free and open to the public. Youth baseball and youth softball players participating in the scheduled tournament are not subject to a Gate Fee.
Food and Beverage Policy
No outside food or beverages are allowed in the facility, besides water. Coolers with ice and water are allowed and will be checked upon entry.
Sliders Sports Grill will open for concessions at 7am and close one hour after the final game.
We are currently accepting field requests for open dates from January - December 2024. Applications for dates in 2025 will open June 2024. To learn more or request to host your next tournament at Cactus Yards, please view our Cactus Yards Tournament Guidelines and Application.
2024 Field Requests will be received until 7/31/2023. Applicants will receive notification of results In August/September 2023. Requests received after 7/31/2023 will still be reviewed based on date availability for the request in question.

Tournaments Hosted by the Town of Gilbert
Gilbert Parks and Recreation proudly hosts a variety of tournaments during the Fall sports season. Registration for each tournament typically opens early September. Tournaments are open to teams of all levels; participation during the regular Adult Softball seasons is not required for tournament participation.
