The Town of Gilbert actively seeks to ensure neighborhoods are safe and enjoyable. Gilbert's Traffic Engineering Division provides a wide array of technical services for citizens as well as support for other internal Town departments. This division plays an important role in development review, permitting processes, transportation planning, roadway infrastructure improvements, neighborhood traffic management programs, and crash reduction programs.

Neighborhood Traffic Mitigation

The Town of Gilbert has a traffic mitigation process to respond to resident's concerns regarding issues such as speeding, parking and other traffic safety issues. To request mitigation of any issue in your neighborhood please complete the below Neighborhood Mitigation form and return to our office.

Speed Hump Policy

Gilbert has adopted a Policy Statement regarding installation and maintenance of traffic calming devices such a speed cushion or other approved device in residential areas on certain public roadways. Below is the Town's Speed Hump policy for your review.
