CURRENT PHASE: DESIGN

Project Description

This project involves the comprehensive design and reconstruction of the wastewater infrastructure at the intersection of Gilbert and Ray Roads. The primary objective is to mitigate recurring surcharge within the sewer system along Ray Road, in addition to enhancing the sewer force main discharge location and pipeline integrity. Specifically, the project includes the following key components:

Wastewater Structure:

The existing structure will be redesigned and reconstructed to improve its functionality and prevent surcharge issues. This structure houses a sewer force main discharge point originating from the Rancho Del Verde lift station.

Sewer Force Main Realignment:

As part of the project, we will explore potential re-alignment options for the existing sewer force main discharge location. This realignment aims to optimize efficiency and address any operational challenges.

Pipeline Rehabilitation:

The existing force main pipeline, which currently contains a portion of ductile iron pipe susceptible to corrosion and deterioration, will undergo rehabilitation. This step ensures the pipeline’s longevity and reliability.
