Construction began on residences and businesses in this area in the late 1970s and continues today, with more development likely in the future. The area was formerly served by the Tankersley Water Company. The Town of Gilbert acquired and currently operates the water system.

• Design is complete with scheduling of individual resident meetings taking place for affected property owners where easements may be needed for waterline installation.  

• Anticipated to begin Winter 2024/2025 and will take approximately 12 months to complete.

Property owners in the project area where easements are needed for the project will be contacted directly or receive additional information via mail. 

Construction for the project is expected to begin in Winter 2024/2025 and take approximately one year to complete. The construction schedule for each property will vary. Prior to start of construction, property owners/residents will be provided information related to construction sequencing and tentative schedule.

Prior to construction, there may be a need for potholing or survey activities to aid in the design process.
