Project Description

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in coordination with the Town of Gilbert, is making improvements at the intersection of Higley and Germann roads. This is a Local Public Agency (LPA) project administered by ADOT. It is being funded by the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) and the local public agency. 

Improvements Include:

• Modifying the raised median curbs at the intersection
• Restriping the left-turn lanes to improve sight distance
• Minor signage and pavement marking improvements
• Installing new intersection street light poles in the median
