What are your hours of operation?

• Batting Cages: Open Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm; Saturday - Sunday 9am - 4pm Tournament use may impact operating hours. Tournament schedule is available here.
• Team Shop: Open Daily 9am - 9pm
• Administrative hours (reservations, inquires, etc.): Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm
• Park: Open Daily from 9 am – 10 pm

How much do batting cages cost?

Batting cages are $1 for a round of 20 pitches, $10 for 15 minutes, or $15 for 30 minutes. 20 pitches can be purchased with quarters only. We have a change machine on site.

Do you provide/rent bats for the batting cages?

Cactus Yards has a limited selection of bats and helmets. We recommend bringing your own.

Are dogs allowed at Cactus Yards?

Dogs are allowed in the park, but must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the dugouts, on the fields, in the Fieldhouse, or in the restaurants (with the exception of service animals). Dogs must be picked up after; there are limited "doggie bags" available in the Team Shop.

Can we bring in outside food and drinks?

Outside food or drinks, other than water, are not allowed in the facility. Parents/Coaches are allowed to bring in coolers with ice and water. Coolers must remain in the stands or dugouts and are subject to being checked by Cactus Yards staff. Sliders Sports Grill opens at 5:30 pm on weeknights and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during tournaments on the weekend for food and beverage options.

Do you charge a gate fee?

Gates fees are applied during tournaments hosted by any outside (non-Town of Gilbert) organization. A $5 gate fee is required to enter the park for any person aged 16 and over. Youth baseball players, youth softball players, and kids 15 and under are not charged a gate fee. Gilbert Residents (with ID) are free.

Can I reserve fields at Cactus Yards?

The ballfields and the fieldhouse are available to rent, based on availability. Reservations must be made a business day in advanced for practices and 3 business days in advance for games requiring a field prep. Additional policies and fees are available here.
