Our mission: Gilbert Parks and Recreation is committed to providing superior parks, recreation and cultural programs, which exceed customer expectations, enhance the quality of life, and promote lifelong leisure and educational pursuits. The department is proud to be be CAPRA accredited and several facilities and parks have earned the Certified Autism Center designation from the IBCCES. All services are provided by a dedicated team focused on fairness, trust, inclusion and innovation with a commitment to excellence.
