Minimum Qualifications

Potential Firefighter candidates for the Gilbert Fire & Rescue Department must meet the following criteria:

Must be 18 years of age, or older

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must possess a valid driver's license by April 17, 2024

Do you have a Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT) issued October 2023 or more recently, or the ability to obtain one by April 17th, 2024?

Do you possess National Registry EMT Basic Certification, State of Arizona EMT or the ability to obtain prior to April 17, 2024? (Required)
