In 2018, Gilbert Town Council adopted a new Redevelopment Plan for the downtown Heritage District (HD). This plan provided an accompanying master plan which builds upon the foundation established by the community and provides new insights that enhance the District's goals and policies, and fosters coordinated efforts between the public and private sector in the continued redevelopment of the Gilbert Heritage District.
