Gilbert, Ariz. – Gilbert has launched a new Public Works Advisory Board. Its members will serve as community advisors for public works-related projects and services.
The board consists of Gilbert residents who are interested and experienced in the services, operations, design, and construction of infrastructure related to public works. This includes solid waste and recycling, water, street projects and more.
Gilbert’s Public Works Advisory Board will:
- Consider and address services offered by Gilbert’s Public Works Department with a commitment to delivering projects and programs that enhance quality of life, economic growth, public health, and create a more sustainable environment
- Review and make recommendations to the Gilbert Town Council regarding the strategy, approach, and fund planning of initiatives and large-scale infrastructure projects
Gilbert Town Councilmember Yung Koprowski serves as the council liaison for the Public Works Advisory Board and the staff liaison is Assistant Public Works Director Giao Pham.
