Gilbert, Ariz. – With a shortage on the Colorado River, many people are wondering how they can do their part to help safeguard our water supply for current and future generations. It starts at home. The most potential for water savings is outdoors, which is where the most water is used in Gilbert.
Beginning March 16, Gilbert Water Conservation will host free Landscape Workshops at the Southeast Regional Library for residents who want to learn more about creating and maintaining a beautiful yard while using the right amount of water.
The team will also offer a Gilbert Water 101 Workshop on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 PM to share how Gilbert’s prepared for the Colorado River shortage with a diverse water portfolio.
