Our mission: Gilbert Parks and Recreation is committed to providing superior parks, recreation and cultural programs, which exceed customer expectations, enhance the quality of life, and promote lifelong leisure and educational pursuits. The department is proud to be be CAPRA accredited and several facilities and parks have earned the Certified Autism Center designation from the IBCCES. All services are provided by a dedicated team focused on fairness, trust, inclusion and innovation with a commitment to excellence.

Trick or Treat Bash

Registration opens on September 1st for the Trick or Treat Bash! The event takes place from 5-7 PM on October 27th 

Come show off your costumes at the Freestone Recreation Center Trick or Treat Bash!

Engage with other ghouls and ghosts in arts and crafts, games, inflatables, and spooky music!

Registration opens on September 1st, 2023 at 7:00 AM

No registration required for parents and guardians. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
