¡Viva! is a celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture. Hispanic Heritage month celebrates the contributions and culture of both Hispanic and Latino Americans from September 15th to October 15th. 

¡Viva! will feature authentic Latin American cuisine, businesses, and a variety of cultural entertainment. 

Gilbert is focused on creating a safe and respectful environment where authentic connections thrive, opinions are equally valued, allyship is encouraged, and differences are shared and celebrated.

• 6:45 PM-7:45 PM: Gilbert School of Music
• 7:45 PM-8:30 PM: Ballet Folklorico Amistad

Gilbert School of Music:

Known for their passion and dedication, these young musicians from the Gilbert School of Music are ready to showcase their developing skills and entertain you with a variety of music to represent Hispanic heritage. Don’t miss this chance to support and share in the excitement of these budding musicians, all training at East Valley's most popular music school. Ballet Folklorico Amistad: 

Ballet Folklorico Amistad was established in the fall of 2005. This group was formed by parents & volunteers with the mission to instill, preserve, and teach our children & communities about the beautiful Mexican culture. We are a traditional ballet Folklorico dance group, with dances from various regions in Mexico. Ballet Folklorico Amistad means friendship in Spanish. “We are friends dancing with friends!”

 Founded in 2020, Crystal Baller is a unique blend of seasoned musicians whose number one priority is to give the audience an unforgettable evening. Playing your favorite rock and pop hits from the 90s and 2000s, Crystal Baller keeps the party going all night with all the best party anthems.

Gary Lazok:

 

Gary Lazok is a native of Arizona and a performer of Magic for over 45 years. Gary prides himself in being a designer and creator of “one of a kind” magical effects, and theme shows. He's put on performances all throughout the southwest, including Las Vegas. In 2017, Gary accepted  the “Lifetime Achievement Award” presented by society of American Magicians.

Mad Science of N.E. Phoenix: 

Mad Science of N.E. Phoenix is excited to showcase their Fire and Ice performance. This spectacular show thrills audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and an incredible exothermic reaction. Students are amazed by the wooshing fire and special bubbly showers!  Our Mad Scientist will embrace the theme of Halloween and do some special spooky themed experiments.
