The department is proud to be be CAPRA accredited and several facilities and parks have earned the Certified Autism Center designation from the IBCCES. Parent/Tot Little Nature Explorers

Spend a morning at the Riparian Preserve with your little one getting in tune with nature. In this class we will learn about the joys of springtime through a storybook reading, then craft our own binoculars to take with us on our “hike” through the Preserve. This activity is for children aged 2-4 along with an adult.
