Saturday Riparian Field Class

Habitats of Arizona

The Field Class Series is for children aged 6-12 and will explore scientific topics through engaging activities set in the Riparian Preserve. Classes will take place on the first Saturday of each month January-April.

Arizona hosts a wide variety of habitats. From deserts and grasslands to riparian and woodlands, our state has a little bit of just about everything. These biomes make Arizona one of the most biodiverse states in the country. This program will explore the ecological and geographic contributors to the variety of habitats and living things in Arizona. Through crafts, games, and field exploration we will all become experts on the habitats of Arizona!
