The Wednesday Field Class Series is intended as a supplement to at-home schooling and will explore scientific topics through engaging activities set in the Riparian Preserve. Classes will take place on the third Wednesday of each month January - April.

Monsoons, tornados, and blizzards oh my! This class will explore how temperature, water, and geography impact the weather patterns we see around the world. Learn about how the tilt of the Earth creates the four seasons, compare and contrast the causes of monsoons and tornados, and how lightening occurs. Participants will take home a rain gauge to continue the meteorological monitoring at home.
