Join Team Gilbert and other local cities in a “Walk in UNITY with our commUNITY". This free event will be held at Tempe Beach Park to promote and support mutual respect and understanding.  We encourage families, schools, community groups, scout troops, and church groups to participate.  No registration is required.

Even if you cannot or do not want to walk, you can still join the fun at 4:30 p.m. for the Regional UNITY Festival, which is sure to delight people of all ages. Entertainment, refreshments, and t-shirts will be available at the park starting at 4:30 p.m. while supplies last.  If you have a purple shirt from past years, please wear it!

At 6 p.m. the multi-city group will complete a 1 mile "walk in UNITY with our CommUNITY", over Tempe Town Lake and back to Tempe Beach Park.

Tempe Beach park is located at Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway. Parking will be available at the parking garage on 3rd and Ash and the surrounding areas.
