The Field Class Series is for children aged 6-12 and will explore scientific topics through engaging activities set in the Riparian Preserve. Classes will take place on the first Saturday of each month January-April.

The Gilbert Riparian Preserve is well known for the wide variety of birds that call this place home or visit during migration. Learn about the diversity and special adaptations of birds. Take a birdwatching excursion through the park to learn about field markers and how to find and identify birds. Participants will make and take their own bird feeder home to continue the learning by participating in citizen science.
