For most families, a shopping trip is part of everyday life. For some families who have a loved one who struggle with sensory issues, shopping isn't that easy.

The Gilbert Police Department has partnered with Trader Joe's to bring you the first Sensory Awareness Family Event (S.A.FE.) on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, to allow for a calmer shopping environment including limiting store music and announcements as well as additional employee assistance.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Focus on adult shoppers

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM  - Focus on family shoppers
