In accordance with 24 CFR 91.05(c)(3) of the federal regulations relative to citizen participation for Community Planning and Development Programs Gilbert is making a Substantial Amendment to the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the Town of Gilbert  available to the public through this notice.

The Town of Gilbert’s Substantial Amendment to the Annual Action Plan 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 are available for public comment for a period of 30 days.

The public comment period begins on December 17, 2021 and will end on January 16, 2022. There is also the opportunity to attend a public hearing on January 6, 2022 at 5:30 pm. 

The purpose of amending the Annual Action Plan is to enable the Town of Gilbert to re-allocate funding $298,000 from the Heritage Exterior Project/Playground Replacement to the ADA Sidewalk Repairs project located in the Heritage District.
