The Gilbert Education Cable Access Governing Board manages the educational access channel, reserved by the cable television operator licensed to the Town of Gilbert. The educational access channel dedicated for use by all schools in the Town, Arizona State University, and the Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The educational access channel operations interconnected with Chandler Educational Television in September 2003.
Through the interconnection with Chandler Educational Television, the educational access channel provides programming which includes educational programs, programming produced by schools, Arizona State University, and Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The channel also operates an electronic bulletin board, which broadcasts education-related information daily between televised video programs. The bulletin board is accessible to all schools and educational institutions within the City of Chandler and Town of Gilbert.

Board members are comprised of one educator (or designee) from the Gilbert Unified School District, one educator (or designee) from the Chandler Unified School District, one representative of the Chandler-Gilbert Community College, one representative of Arizona State University, and one representative of the Town of Gilbert.
This board meets as necessary.
